ACUPUNCTURE NOW ACCESSIBLE TO
EVERYONE!!
Acupuncture has been a community-based medicine for most of its history and it has traditionally been practiced in a group rather than individually.EVERYONE!!
Acupuncture is medicine and therapy at the same time. Just like you take a pill everyday or go to Physical Therapy two to three times per week, Acupuncture, to be most effective, needs to be received frequently and regularly. As Acupuncture is being embraced in the West, it has dopted a one-on-one spa-like model -- a model that is ultimately great for some, but too costly and timely for others.
HOW DOES IT WORK? HOW IS THE COMMUNITY SETTING LIKE?
Community acupuncture clinics represent a return to tradition. Community acupuncturists focus on using “distal” points (below the knee and elbow, and on the head and neck) so that patients can remain fully clothed during treatment. Community acupuncture clinics often use recliners rather than treatment tables. Many patients prefer a community setting because they find it more relaxing and can tap intoto the healing energy of others in the room.
There is an intial $50 processing/intake fee. Follow-up visits will be $25 to $35. We recommend coming in 2 to 3 times per week for the first 2 to 4 weeks, and as certain results are achieved, treatments will be further apart. Treatments last anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes.
